Poverty is one of the
greatest challenges that is facing Africa today. Most political parties when
they want to get into power they use poverty as means of gaining more votes,
they promise that they will eradicate poverty when they are in power.
Unfortunately not one of them has ever done that instead they continue to
increase poverty, they just take advantage of the poor people in order to
enrich themselves once they are in power. Most Africans are living under
extreme poverty, when you promise them that you will fight poverty you will
indeed gain their votes and win an election. Winning an election will open
doors to lay hands in the wealthy of the country in order to enrich yourself
and your family, whiles their people are living under extreme poverty. Being in
government has now been an easy way of getting rich, as results some of African
leader want to stay in power forever. Before we get into details in writing
about poverty, we need to see the roots of African poverty. What is it that has
causes that poverty. In any problem that one is facing it is not easy that it
can be solved unless the cause is found. Beating the push about the causes of
poverty will not help in any way in solving the problem.
Most politician claims that
they will eradicate poverty without trying to find the causes and the roots of
poverty. We cannot fight poverty unless we find and face the causes of poverty.
Before Europeans came to Africa poverty was not a problem in Africa .Europeans
are the roots and causes of poverty in Africa (in order for the other one to
become rich others must be poor, Europe has become rich at the expense of Africa,
Europe has gained out of Africa's poverty, that is why Europe will never help
Africa to come out of poverty, for Europe to help Africa that will be like a
cat helping a mouse to run away from it, that will never happen, all those
Africans who are looking for solutions from Europe are like a mouse looking for
solutions from a cat. BLACKMAN YOU ARE OWN YOUR OWN NO ONE WILL ERADICATE YOUR
POVERTY EXCEPT YOU THEY WILL JUST INCREASE YOUR POVERTY AT THEIR BENEFIT).Some
politicians think that by building roads,schools,toilets ,giving government
grants, providing water and electricity they are eradicating poverty, yet
poverty is very deep, than just providing sanitations .When Europeans came to
Africa they found our forefathers not poor, living an independent life without
even working for anyone. About 150 years ago Asians came to South Africa to
work in sugar cane fields because Africans were not willing to work into someone’s
field but were self independent. If Africans were poor during that time there
was no need to bring Asians to come and work in sugar cain fields. But because
they were not poor they refused to go and work in the sugar cain field. Today
Africans are number one when it comes to looking for employment (nowadays
slaves) even politicians when they are campaigning are always promising our
people employment, yet our people were not employees but self employed before
Europeans came. They are still pushing the very same agenda of the imperialist
which makes our people poorer.
Since from 1994 in South Africa the gap between the rich and the poor is
increasing and it will still widen more and more because the so called new
government is still using the very same policies which were put in place by the
colonial masters to produce poverty.(Capitalist) .That is the reasons that they
also think that employment is the solutions to black people's poverty, yet
employment was accepted by the black people after the Europeans have possessed
everything that belongs to them. They wanted Africans to be employees and them
to be employers in order to be the ones who decide the future for Africans
.There is no way that you will fight poverty through employment, even if you go
overseas to find people who will enslaves your people in the name of employment
,those people will only be interested in enriching themselves with African resources,
when they have enriched themselves they then go back to their countries leaving
our people still living under poverty and disease, which is the product of
their systems (there so called investors). The Europeans come with several ways
of disempowering black people in order to turn them from being self employed to
be employees and consumers of their products.
Europeans were the one who brought poverty into Africa by creating
a system that will make Africans to depend on them for everything. Every home
was farming producing their own food and having their own livestock. Our
forefathers were only worried about rain, whiles we are today worried about
being employed(nowadays slavery).African men were not willing to work for the Europeans as a result the Europeans had to
come with a way of forcing them to work for them. The only way to do that was
to introduce poverty by taking their land and livestock which resulted in
hunger and poverty, as they found themselves not having a land to farm and
graze their livestock. When their land was taken and their livestock was also taken
that resulted in poverty and hunger. And that was when employment was necessary
for them in order to survive, and they become poor. They then come with the
bible claiming that poverty came when Adam ate the fruit yet poverty came when
a black man’s land and livestock was taken by Europeans not the devil. Today
you find Christians praying and saying they want to claim back what was stolen
by the devil, yet there is nothing for Africans that was stolen by the devil,
but it was stolen by Europeans. They are poor not because of Satan, but because
of the Europeans who took everything from them, in order to introduce poverty.
Remember that Africa is the richest continent in the world yet she has became
the poorest in the world .All the resources of Africa are enriching other
continents especially Europe.``Oh Africa what will you do to escape all this
predators who are here just to exploit you in the name of investors, they have
taken your land and all you resources ,everyone is coming to you Africa so that
he can be rich out of you, it was the European now the Indians and the Chinese
are also here to enrich themselves out of you Africa yet you children are
living under extreme poverty, even your so called freedom fighters are not
saying anything if not helping your exploiters, they are just happy that they
are now driving big cars, staying in big houses ,becoming instant millionaires
at the detriment of their brothers, you land Africa is still owned by
imperialist yet your children are staying in shacks’’. Arise Africa
Arise Africa.(THERE IS NO EMPOWERMENT WITHOUT BRINGING BACK THE LAND
BECAUSE EVERYTHING COMES FROM THE LAND ,WITHOUT THE LAND YOU ARE POOR)
