Comment: It is a grave mistake to be taught by our enemies, imagine if a cat could teach a mouse nothing but to stop running so fast so it can be easy for it to catch it for a meal. It is the same with us (Africans), we have been miseducated to think of the European science as a way to a better life and development. All the African leaders who have been taught by their colonial masters are short sighted to realize that it wont benefit them or their people, because it was not meant to empower us but to weaken us socially, politically ans spiritually. As any thinking man will tell you, true education begins at home. If we (Africans) can remember everything that we were taught by our parents and live according to those values and principles, we will be on the right direction towards an African ENLIGHTENMENT. We need to go back to our roots, and practice our OWN way of life from A to Z. The present education is nothing but a political tool that continues to enslave us to the interests of our colonial masters. It is an insult to think that our ancestors, even our grandparents and parents are lacking a scientific knowledge beyond the superstitions written in the colonial history books. We need man and women educated in the norms and values of our ancestors to teach our youth the importance of honoring our forefathers. If we do not teach the African youth our culture will one day remain in a museum. I now live to the best of my knowledge according to the principles taught by my grandparents. It is a grave mistake to assume that if something is old then we must throw it away, many of our youth including our living elders have forgot that we ( Africans)honor and respect the traditions handed to us by our parents and grandparents. Those who think that our (African) traditions are not good enough for the modern democratic society are in error, nature teaches us that it is absolutely foolish to throw away anything just because it is old. I should tech those of our African brothers and sisters who subscribe to modernity that old does not mean bad, therefore let us not despise our parents' teachings especially our culture just because you want to impress your "white" counterparts. To our youth, education will never make you "white", no matter how British your accent can be you are still an African, it is not a sin nor a crime to be African (politically called black). We need to be proud of our natural mind and be innovative within that framework without trying to change ourselves. Let me remind my critics that, "A leopard cannot change its spots, and so are you "black man”. There is absolutely nothing wrong with our natural look, our hair is strong and beautiful, so why fix it if it is not broken? Those who subscribe to religion I would like to remind them that God said concerning our ancestor Abraham, "I know that Abraham will teach his children". God never said that Abraham will send his children to "Kambdrige"in UKAY, NO, but he(Abraham) himself will teach his children, therefore it is every parent's responsibility to impart knowledge to his or her children. As a young man myself, like David's son I uphold the teachings of my parents. My last words, you can speak a foreign language with an accent but you will always dream in Nguni or Sotho language. When you cry you will always cry in your mother tongue...Pula, ...Ke nna mora Ra-Pula

comment: There is no independent country in this world, even the European countries are dependent on us (African continent), without us they wont be politically called the First World Countries. However, I think the African continent can stand on its own without the European world. Our political independence will be seen when we take total control of our lives without any political, economic or social foreign aid from the West. Our political growth is a false consciousness, no child can grow and become independent on his mother's back, he must learn to walk by walking without any help whatsoever, sometimes even fall and cry but that is the only way towards independence. As Africans we must also learn to walk on our own without the European "Aid". They say we (Africans) are in debts, but in essence who is in debt if not the European. They owe us a life of generations...Our independence begins at home not on the streets with political protests and violence, we need to have an independent mind first before we can be politically and economically independent. It is important for us (Africans) to know that a lion will never befriend a sheep; the two will always be in conflict. God did not ordain that one man will rule over the other, except in abnormal situations such as these we are living in today. There is still hope for my people to break free from this colonial yoke of slavery. Ha dikgutle dikgomo tsa ntate, Pula...ha e ate.Ke nna mora Ra-Pula

comment: The ANC is an example of the political failure of many political organizations claiming to fight for the liberation of the African people; there is no liberation for Africans today and many are experiencing even worse economic conditions than what they did during the colonial period. Democracy is the best worst political system that can provide a better life for the African continent. The South African political struggle was lost on religious grounds; it is sad to see our people celebrate a political failure on the 27th of April. True freedom comes from within; there is no European or any foreigner that can liberate an African. I strongly think and believe that the native problem can only be resolved by the natives themselves, we need to stand up as Africans and work out our own "political salvation" without expecting someone from nowhere to come and deliver us from the colonial bondage that we are still experiencing today. God did not send a foreigner to liberate the children of Israel, he sent Moshe one of their own people who knew and understood their sufferings. To think that the former President Mr. Nelson Mandela has liberated us is a fallacy. I think we are not free until we are culturally free.
