ECOMONIC FREEDOM IN OUR LIFE TIME. Most of the so called educated people in South Africa are against the call by Malema for taking back the land. Anyone who thinks careful will realize that the first thing in restoring the economy to black people is to give them back their land. Black people were made poor by the Europeans when they took their land. Most of these so called educated are brainwashed by these European education thinking when you live in a bond house you have a home. Those who live in bond houses are also homeless because those houses are owned by the banks in which those banks are owned by the imperialist. They live in fear that one day they might not be able to pay for those houses in case they lost their employment and that can lead to eviction and those houses being auctioned even though they were claiming that they were owning those houses. In fact most of the educated middleclass are very poor but they look like they own something, but their houses, cars, food, clothing and others are acquired through credit they live by debts owing the imperialist. The imperialist had made it impossible these days to own land because land is in their hands, if we want a piece of that land we must be bonded to them for twenty years or more paying the land of our forefathers. Most black people are without land and the land is owned by the imperialist and we cannot claim to be free if we don’t have land. How can someone who is homeless and landless claim that he is free, you cannot be free without owning land.
150 years ago black people were living an independent life farming and producing food for themselves and there was no need for them to be employed that is the reason that the imperialist had to get Indians to come and work in sugarcane farms because black people were not willing to work for someone .Their education system was making them to be fully independent producing people who can work for themselves. Black people’s land was taken from them in order for them to be poor and be unable to produce food and take care of their livestock. Their livestock was taken by the imperialist and some of that livestock was killed by these colonizers claiming they are affected by diseases. Land is everything that a man needs because everything come from the land ,all the resources are found in the land, indeed when a black man is denied land then that means he is denied every right to live as land is a human right issue. It is an unfortunately that some of our black people have been brainwashed in such a way that they have forgotten the importance of having land. Our forefather used to know that land is something that is worth dying for and without a land you are just a nothing. Our ancestors used to know that in life you only need land and rain, if they have enough rain they were knowing that everything is fine they will have enough food.
When the ANC Youth League started to talk about economic freedom that was a real thorn to the imperialist they realized that the League have started to talk about real issues. This situation become worse when the League started to even talk about land restoration, they knew that these black people are now meaning business that is why they hate the Leauge leadership so much because they are talking about real economic restoration to black people. When one demand employment they feel more comfortable about that because their desire is to see black people enjoying to be an employees and a consumers, not producing anything(meaning black people must be their employees and also their consumer buying in their shops with the little salary that they receive from them and bring back that salary to them again while remaining with nothing). This thing became a circle at the end, because we work for them they give us wages ,we then go to their shops to buy with those wages and those wages comes back to them again then what is left for a black man.(black man you are on your own no one will help you even the so called investors are just here to rip you off and make money out of your resources, and live you poor and affected with diseases caused by those factories and mines).
In the issue of Black Economic Empowerment I will write more about that in our website but I just want to write briefly to explain why it has failed together with affirmative action. If someone receives a tender from Government for an amount of R5 Million to supply meat ,that is normal what is called black empowerment and the Government thinks that it is empowering black people. We will look at this case study to see why it has not brought economic empowerment to black people. In fact what the government is presently doing is called short term economic empowerment. We need to come with long-term empowerment whereby the empowerment will last even for generations to come. It is an unfortunate situation that all the universities are teaching our fellow African about how to maintain an economy instead of teaching our people about creating the economy. This is like teaching someone to service a car instead of teaching someone to make a car.Infact most universities were designed to produce workers for companies not people who will build an economy of a country. The countries who are known to be rich know very well that what the universities teach cannot help to build an economy of a country but can help to produce good employees. They do all their best to keep all the secrets that makes a country rich so that they can continue to dominate our people ,they keep on telling our people that education is the solution for everything yet knowing very well that the education system that they are giving black people its only good to produce employees, people who will live their whole lives indebted in everything owing cars, furniture, house and even food. The things that are taught in universities and colleges are good to produce employees and consumers infact that is the reason for their existence to produce workers not economic architects .Even if we can take all this so called economist to head our government we will still remain poor as we are because those people were not taught how to build an economy but to maintain an existing economy.
Let me go back to my case study about black empowerment, where government give a black person a tender of 5 million to supply meat the real name for this is not black empowerment but short term black empowerment. In order for this black person to supply this tender he will have to go to one of the farm that is owned by a white man to buy that meat because black people do not produce meat as they do not even have land for keeping livestock. He might spend about R4million just to buy the meat in order to supply the government. The government thinks that they have empowered a black person with 5 million tender yet 4 million has now gone to the white man and the black man remains with 1million.Lets assume that the remaining R1 million is a profit for that black person to spent as he wish. Let’s say he want to buy a house for R500 000,he will still have to go to a white man to buy that house because it is the white people who have land to build houses and sell them to black people, black people are landless and homeless. He then remain with R500 000 then if he wants to buy a car he will then have to go to a white men again to spend may be R200 000 for the car then remain with R300 000 which he will spend on furniture, food, clothing, entertainment and etc ,in all this things furniture, clothing, food and etc he will have to go to buy them from a white men shops, because the whites are the ones who owns supermarkets, furniture shops and manufacturing companies. At the end the whole 5million will go the white man and the black man will remain poor .The main person that will be finally empowered by the government will be the white man not the black man.(blackman you are on your own no one will empower you except yourself)
I have seen several black people who became rich temporarily after receiving tenders and at the end they go back to their previous position because they l have spent that money to white people because black people were made to be good consumers not producers of products. The first thing to empower black people is to give them back their land and then teach them how to utilize that land by producing food and other goods including livestock farming. When the ANC was founded one of the most important objective was to restore the land to black people that is why it was founded by people who were mostly Kings. Black empowerment initiatives are useless without giving back land because everything come from the land. If you deny Africans their land, you are denying them to be part of the economy. Everything that is produced under the sun comes from the land, if black people are without land that means they are denied their basic human right of being part of the economy. You cannot talk about respect for human rights if you deny other people land. Land is the basic human right, these Europeans who took our land are the violators of human rights they must also appear in the international criminal court, but unfortunately that court was made to prosecute black African leaders. If black people were not brainwashed they were going to rally behind the youth league in their quest for land restitution and economic freedom in our life time because, political freedom without economical freedom it’s useless. Everyone who is educated will agree that a country is governed by those who have economic power they are the ones who dictate things for the hungry politicians and if the politicians refuse to listen they threatens to pull out their investments or even devalue the currency. Africans need to understand that there is a different between being in the office and being in power. Most African leaders are in the office they do not have power they are just puppets while the west is in power. You are on your own black man no one will put you in power except you.
